Practice Nurse (Registered or Enrolled Nurse)
The Yorketown Medical Practice provides high quality community-based healthcare services to the rural community of Yorketown and surrounding districts. As a well-established and fully accredited practice, we strive to provide the highest standard of care for our community.
About the role
• Part-time position (0.4 FTE – 2 days per week – Thursday & Friday)
• Located in Yorketown
We are expanding our team and seeking an additional practice nurse to join our team on a part-time basis. The medical practice offers excellent working conditions, attractive salary, salary packaging and access to relocation assistance through RDWA up to $5,000 for eligible candidates.
Our ideal candidate will have:
• A passion for delivering exceptional patient centred care in a rural primary healthcare setting
• Previous experience in general practice or community-based setting will be highly regarded
• A current practicing certificate and AHPRA registration
• Current first aid certificate including CPR
About You:
• Broad range of clinical skills in immunisation, venepuncture, ECG, spirometry and wound management
• Experience in chronic condition management, care planning and health assessment
• Experience in cold chain and medical stock management
• A compassionate, patient-centred approach and a commitment to continuous learning
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required within scope of practice
